How little of it was scheduled — we were asked each morning what we felt like. Not perfect — so little was fixed that some days drifted, which won't suit everyone — but it didn't take much away from the rest.

Getting to the living root bridge before anybody else was on the path. The whole thing was organised without ever feeling packaged, and we were never once left wondering what happened next.

The naturalist, who could name everything and never made us feel slow for asking. Against that, messages before the trip took a day or two to get answered, and for what we paid I'd expect the whole trip to be at the level of its best day.
