How little of it was scheduled — we were asked each morning what we felt like. Not perfect — so little was fixed that some days drifted, which won't suit everyone — but it didn't take much away from the rest.

The naturalist, who could name everything and never made us feel slow for asking. Not perfect — there were two more people in the group than we'd been told to expect — but it didn't take much away from the rest.

A dawn safari where we saw rhino inside twenty minutes. Not perfect — the Guwahati leg took five hours in traffic and ate most of a day — but it didn't take much away from the rest.
